For 200 years, Asbury First United Methodist Church has been a dynamic part of the Rochester, NY community. More than a place of worship, we have a record of real engagement. Our goal is to make a difference, and our members help turn that goal into reality every day through active ministries, education for children and adults, as well as participation and innovation throughout the greater Rochester area.
A reconciling statement welcoming all to Asbury First, including LGBTQ individuals, was overwhelmingly approved by the congregation in 2015. Asbury First United Methodist Church prayerfully strives to live with open hearts, open minds and open doors.
